WHO ARE WE?
So...Where do you belong?
We’ve got a lot going on. Each of the TNP units below are looking for one or more summer interns. Read more about each group and their ideal intern(s):
From social media and our website(s) to advertising and marketing opportunities, this is the team that brings all things TNP together and presents it to the public. The Communications Intern will learn to create and implement content marketing strategies via multiple platforms including: email, print, social media, website, and the tnp app. This role requires thinking outside the box, plus the ability to take big ideas and concepts and make them meaningful to people. This position invites collaboration and interaction with all of our units at TNP.
TNP tells stories, and we absolutely believe a picture is worth a thousand words. Many of our films and concepts are born from the right piece of imagery, and that’s where our Design team comes in. As a Design Intern, you’ll participate in brainstorming sessions, concepting, and critique. You’ll learn how a design request turns into a
piece of powerful visual communication with a clear message. Sometimes we do it on the computer, sometimes we get out the tools and get our hands dirty. Basic knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator preferred.
A big part of our work revolves around putting on the world’s best events. It’s an all-hands-on-deck affair and requires a keen eye for detail, plus a “no-job-is-too-big-or-small” mentality. As an Event Planning & Execution Intern, you will learn how an event is produced from start to finish, including how to communicate with vendors, set a budget, and network with producers, filmmakers, and presenters. Be prepared to become a true part of the team and to have the experience of a lifetime.
This is where miracles come to life. As a Film Production Intern, you’ll learn the unique and valuable skill of cultivating and
developing stories. You’ll be immersed in a world of ideas and creativity alongside award-winning filmmakers. The ideal candidate has an interest — and preferably some
basic knowledge — in all areas of film production: shooting, editing, and research.
At TNP, we believe meaningful conversation and in-person connection can change the
world. This is an opportunity to join a life – ( if not world – ) changing project. As a
Neighborhood Project Intern, you’ll be part of a community movement, with all the victories, failures, and lessons that are delivered daily. You’ll develop skills that focus on meeting the myriad needs of Project participants around the country. In addition, you’ll
experience working under the rigor of hard-to-quantify/soft metrics related to
relationship-building, impact measurement, and iterating in response to emotional
This is where the brand goes to market. As a Partnerships and Sales Intern, you’ll learn how to build strong relationships with our partners and clients. You’ll also gain a solid introduction to startup culture and learn the delicate and valuable art of preparing pitch decks. Finally, you’ll likely have the opportunity to participate in meetings with advertising and/or PR agencies in the area.
As a Tech Intern, you’ll play the very important role of helping innovate new
technologies that increase efficacy and productivity throughout the company. You’ll learn to troubleshoot and provide much-needed tech support, with a professional demeanor. You will also gain experience with front-end web design on WordPress, Squarespace, and Wix. If you’re a techie at heart and a strong team player with an interest in media management workflow and networking, this may be the role for you.
