Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to The Nantucket Project (“TNP”) Registrations.  Please note that Transfer and Carry Over policies apply to the Fellow Program (the “fellowship”) registrations only. “One-time” registrations, defined as a “Weekender Pass, One Day Pass, Three Day Pass, Group, Participant and  Educator & Student Pass,” are not refundable, transferable or eligible for carry over to another year.


TNP Fellowship Term

Prior to the commencement of the fellowship, a Fellow is not entitled to benefits.

Fellowships commence officially on the date your payment is successfully processed. Fellowships renew annually and the renewal registration fee will be due in full on or before November 30th of that year in order to secure a seat for the following year. Beginning on January 1st of the following year, renewals are not guaranteed. TNP will notify you before October 30th if there is any increase in the cost for renewing the fellowship for the next year.  In the event that you do not wish your fellowship to renew, you must notify TNP in writing at the following email address: fellows@nantucketproject.com by no later than October 30th and state your name and address and that you are not renewing your fellowship in the upcoming year.


Refunds of Fellowship Registration

Except as expressly set forth herein, TNP will not refund any fellowship registration fees, in whole or in part.  If for any reason a Fellow cannot attend TNP programming that Fellow may request to transfer or carry over the fellowship as set forth below.


Transfers of Fellows Registration

Transfer of a Fellowship registration is allowable once for every three year term.

Fellows registration may be transferred once during this three year term only if the following criteria are met: 1. We receive an email from you detailing the proposed reason for transfer as early as possible but a minimum of four (4) weeks prior to the TNP Main Event in September (email: fellows@nantucketproject.com). 2. The request includes the name, address and email of the proposed transferee.If a transfer request is received later than four (4) weeks before the commencement date of the current year’s Main Event it will not be processed, and no transfer will be granted.


Refusal of Transfer

TNP reserves the right in its sole discretion to refuse transfer requests even in the event the above terms are met.  If a transfer is refused, TNP will refund a portion of the registration fee for the current fellowship year and the administrative fee will be waived.  The amount of this refund will depend on the timing of the transfer. The refund will not exceed 50% of the original Fellowship registration fee.


Carryovers

If a Fellow is unable to attend the Main Event, the Fellow may carry forward the Fellowship, including its benefits, by one year (the subsequent year) by submitting a written request to carryover the fellowship at least four (4) weeks prior to the current year’s Main Event.

Carryover is allowable once every three years and may not be carried over beyond the next consecutive year.

If the Fellowship registration fee increases in the subsequent year the Fellow will be required to pay this increase within four (4) weeks of the Main Event.

Carryover requests received later than four (4) weeks before the commencement date of the current year’s Main Event will not be processed and no transfer will be granted.


TNP’s Right to Terminate Fellowships
 

TNP reserves the right to terminate any fellowship at any time without explanation by notifying the Fellow via email and delivering a prorated refund.  In the event of such termination.  All fellowship benefits shall cease as of the date of the email notifying the Fellow that the fellowship has been terminated.


Fee for Fellowship and Separate Tax Deductible Donation to The Nantucket Project Academy, Inc.

Payments are in the form of a base fee (based on TNP Fellow pricing in first year attended) to TNP for the Fellows program. In addition, but separate from the fee, each Fellow makes a contribution to Nantucket Project Academy, Inc. which operates as a non-profit 501(c)(3). Please click here for information about the Academy. Please consult with your tax advisor regarding the treatment of this contribution for tax purposes.


Cancellation Policy

In the rare event that TNP needs to cancel The Nantucket Project event on Nantucket due to weather or other unforseen issues, TNP reserves the right to offer a partial refund or rollover ticket to the following year.


Code of Conduct

We gather curious people to share meaning in service of connection – people connect and neighborhoods grow.

Our gatherings are not a place for behavior that is inappropriate, disruptive or abusive.

We welcome every individual, regardless of age, race, color, national origin, religion, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic. We are committed to prevent and address any form of verbal or physical abuse, the use of derogatory or discriminatory language, gestures or any form of harassment that would make anyone involved with TNP feel uncomfortable or unwelcome.

Photo and Video Consent

As an attendee or presenter, you are part of The Nantucket Project, LLC gatherings. Photography and video is being made to document all gatherings. If you do not wish to participate, please do not enter. The Nantucket Project, LLC reserves the right to publish, print, broadcast and distribute, in any and all media applications related to the marketing of, or reporting on, gatherings now and in the future.
